Hiya, I’m Megan.
I’m a freelance journalist from Devon, now living in Bristol UK. I write about various different topics, including (but not limited to) female empowerment in the realm of social media, body image, female health, and feminism in popular culture and music.
I have written for magazines including Stylist, Heroica, Empoword, Yes Gurl, and OutLoud. Additionally, I am a writer for the platform Asides by SOL. My poetry has also been featured on the BBC.
I graduated with a master’s degree in music last year, in which I wrote my dissertation on the erasure of femininity in classical music. This is something I still avidly research and explore.
